EMERGENCY 2023

The West Harlem Arts Collaborative 2023 Exhibition brought together a cohort of 6 artists to collaborate with 7 local community organizations in the creation of a banner design that explores the theme of EMERGENCY. Which is derived from all of the never ending series of emergent global crises we find ourselves in at this time. From Covid to Civil Unrest, Mass Shootings, and Women’s rights violations.Artists and their organizational partners worked together to speak to these “emergencies” and offer a visual response.
